Why Counter exists
Counter is a small web tool for keeping a chosen date in view. It displays elapsed days or a countdown without requiring a traditional account or a public profile.
A narrow job, intentionally
The useful part is a date you can return to: the start of a no-contact period, a personal commitment, or an event you are waiting for. The number changes as days pass; you decide what it means. Counter does not observe your behavior, decide whether a day was successful, or make decisions for you.
You can name counters, edit dates, and choose whether each counter is public. The tracker is not an automatic habit log, social recovery network, task manager, or shared team workspace. It does not connect to workplace incident systems or calculate statutory deadlines.
Know the trade-offs
No conventional account makes starting simple, but makes recovery your responsibility. Save your recovery ID securely or link an optional recovery email. Counter data is stored on servers, not solely on your device.
Sharing is optional, but public is genuinely public: links can be forwarded and public counters can appear in search engines. Choose a neutral label if you do not want a circumstance described in a public preview.
How the service is funded
There is a first-counter allowance, with eligibility checks. Extra counter credits, bundles, and a monthly subscription are offered through Stripe. The current app and checkout prices control; review them before purchase. Advertising execution is currently disabled while advertising and consent requirements are reviewed.
We do not claim clinical benefits, legal compliance, or superiority over other apps. A calendar, a notebook, or a specialist service may be a better fit if you need a detailed history, an accountable daily log, treatment, or professionally verified deadlines.
Questions and corrections
The Help page explains dates, recovery, payments, and visibility. You can send product questions, content corrections, or privacy requests through Contact support in the footer without buying anything. Include a reply address if you want a response.
