Read milestones without losing sight of the date

A milestone marks a date-based interval. Counter can highlight a number, but you decide whether it is meaningful and what it represents.

Understand the built-in markers

Count-up counters highlight 30, 60, 90, 180, and 365 days. These are fixed day counts, not calendar-month anniversaries: 30 days does not always equal one month.

For example, a start of October 1 reaches 30 elapsed calendar days on October 31. Choose the start carefully, since changing it changes which day reaches a milestone.

Use the available counter settings

Where offered, custom milestone and reminder controls let you choose date markers and notification preferences. Check your browser's notification permissions if you want notifications. Delivery depends on browser and device support and is not guaranteed.

If a marker seems wrong, verify the saved starting date before resetting anything. Edit date corrects the starting point; reset intentionally starts a new count at today.

A marker is not a record of everything that happened

The app calculates from a saved date. It does not verify attendance, health, abstinence, project quality, or incident-free operation. Use another record if you need daily evidence or an auditable history.

You can acknowledge a milestone without making it public. If you publish a counter, its label, type, and count may be viewed by strangers or indexed. Prefer a neutral label if the underlying event is personal.
