Track a no-contact date, privately by default

A no-contact counter is a record of a date you choose, not a judgment about a relationship. Decide what the date means to you before starting. You can keep the label neutral and leave sharing off.

Choose a consistent starting point

Decide whether you want to record the date of last contact or the first full day after it. Both are personal conventions; choose one and keep it consistent. Counter counts elapsed calendar dates, so a date of October 1 shows 9 on October 10. It does not verify messages, calls, or other contact.

On the home screen, create a count-up counter, select the no-contact type if appropriate, enter your chosen date, and give it a name. There is no need to name another person or explain the relationship.

A correction is different from a new starting point

Use the calendar edit button if the original date was wrong. Use reset only if you deliberately want the count to begin at today. Reset does not provide a dated archive of previous periods; keep a separate record if those dates matter.

The tool cannot decide what counts as contact, whether a boundary is appropriate, or what you should do next. Necessary communication about work, children, or safety may require an individual plan rather than a simple uninterrupted count.

Keep relationship details out of public labels

Private is the default, but the date and label are stored on the service. Protect your recovery ID. If you turn public sharing on, others can read the label, type, and count, links can spread, and the counter may appear in search results.

Counter is not counseling, a safety plan, or emergency help. If contact involves threats, coercion, or immediate danger, seek appropriate local support; a counter cannot assess or protect your safety.

Frequently asked questions

Can I count separate dates?

Yes. Each counter has its own date and visibility. Extra counters may require a paid option after the first eligible free counter.
